Our Spa

The sauna area at Hotel Rosenpark offers you a large selection of different saunas. From the slightly cooler bio sauna at around 60 °C to the Finnish sauna with up to 90 °C – there is a suitable variant for every sauna lover. We warmly welcome not only our hotel guests but also day guests to enjoy the spa at our Hotel Rosenpark in Marburg - take a look at our offers for day guests.

Finnish Sauna

The Finnish sauna is one of the most well-known and hottest forms of sauna. At temperatures from 90 to 100 °C, you can work up a sweat at the Rosenpark Spa of VILA VITA Marburg and promote your well-being. The wood-paneled cabins offer seating and reclining areas at different heights. This way, you can determine how intense your sauna session should be.

Warm, wood-paneled sauna with corner benches and slatted walls, a pale stone floor, and golden light casting striped shadows across surfaces.

Swimming Pool

The pool can only be entered with swimwear. It has a size of 5x8 m (40 m2) and a depth of 1.20 m. The average temperature is 27 to 29 °C. The whirlpool function and counter-current system are located in the main pool. There is no area for toddlers.

SWAY Lounger

The combination of SONNENWIESE® and the SWAY pendulum lounger provides deep relaxation for body and mind. In a calm atmosphere, the feeling of a natural sunbath with plenty of room to switch off is created. The SONNENWIESE® supports skin renewal, stimulates collagen production, and ensures a gentle tan. A pleasant experience that harmoniously combines relaxation and care.

Steam Bath

Even the Romans appreciated the beneficial effects of the steam bath. At around 50 °C, the fine water vapor in the Rosenpark Spa unfolds its relaxing and invigorating power. It supports the immune system, cares for the skin, and is beneficial for respiratory problems. A gentle form of relaxation for body and mind.

Bio Sauna

Unlike the traditional Finnish sauna, you can relax in the bio sauna at slightly lower temperatures. With an approximate room temperature of 60 °C, you can switch off and feel comfortably warm. Due to the lower temperatures, there are no infusions in our bio sauna. Nevertheless, we pamper you with various essential oils, providing a pleasant scent and a circulation-friendly sauna session.

Infrared Seats

Our infrared seats in the wellness area of Hotel Rosenpark in Marburg provide you with deep warmth. Unlike a normal sauna session, where the body is heated from the outside by the room air, the infrared rays provide internal warming of the body. This makes sweating more tolerable, and your muscles relax significantly. This is especially recommended after a round of exercise in our VITA Gym.

VITA Gym

Stay active at the VITA Gym right next to the Rosenpark Spa. Train on modern equipment and combine your workout with relaxing moments in the over 1,000 m² wellness area.

Equipment Overview:
2 treadmills, rowing machine, ergometer, spinning bike, cross trainer, equipment for chest, arms, legs, and back, free weight area with bench, kettlebells, and medicine balls, mirrors and mats, equipment with Wi-Fi and TV, water dispenser, and towels.

Cool off in our snow cabin after the sauna session. At low temperatures and with artificially generated snow, you can get your circulation going again in our wellness area after a sauna session. We recommend entering the room cooled to -6 to -15 °C after an infusion and rubbing your arms and legs with the dry snow.
