When Enjoyment is in Season: Asparagus & Strawberries from Dagobertshausen

With the first warm days, perhaps the most enjoyable time of the year begins. At the Hofgut Dagobertshausen, you can expect fresh asparagus and sun-ripened strawberries from our own agriculture – regional, seasonal, and full of flavor. Our sales stands are open, and you can also find the products in selected retail outlets.

Spring Tastes Like Asparagus

With the first warm days, a very special time begins at the Hofgut Dagobertshausen. The fields provide freshly harvested asparagus daily, grown in our own agriculture and characterized by care, experience, and genuine regionality. Harvested in the morning, it finds its way directly to our sales stands and selected stores in the region.

Whether served classically or interpreted in a modern way, the taste of spring unfolds right where it originates.

The Central Hessian mountain region provides the best conditions for our agriculture. Fertile soils, a balanced climate with comparatively low precipitation, and the surrounding highlands form the basis for our daily work. Here, with great care and in harmony with the region, a quality is created that you can taste.

Summer Begins with Strawberries from the Estate

When the days get longer and the sun warms the fields around the Hofgut Dagobertshausen, the strawberry season begins. Carefully cultivated and tended with much experience, the fruits ripen right on site and develop their unmistakable aroma. Each harvest brings strawberries that delight with their natural sweetness and juicy freshness.

A Day Dedicated to the Strawberry

On June 14th, the Hofgut Dagobertshausen becomes the stage for everything that makes summer so special. Between fields and farm life, you can expect a day full of flavor, encounters, and small discoveries around the strawberry. From 12 to 6 pm, regional products, lively insights, and enjoyable moments combine into an experience you don't need to plan – just enjoy.

Asparagus season in our restaurants

Our Dagobertshausen asparagus has also found its place on the plates of our restaurants. In our Bückingsgarten, Waldschlösschen and OLIVA, the asparagus season is all about regional freshness and creative moments of enjoyment. 

Look forward to varied asparagus dishes in different variations – from classically interpreted to modernly refined. Each restaurant brings the taste of the season to the plate in its own unique way.
