1st Dagobertshausen BBQ Day Marburg

A holiday as it should be! When fire meets world champion, when premium meat falls on glowing coal, and when the elite of the BBQ scene gathers in Dagobertshausen, it's clear: This is about real barbecue.

 

On May 1st, the Hofgut becomes a fire arena. Europe's largest rotation smoker makes its rounds. Half a ton of steel glows in the Hydra Grill. High-end technology, honest craftsmanship, and uncompromising quality meet passion, smoke, and pure energy.

 

Craft Beer, Whiskey & Wine

The right drink belongs to the BBQ. Look forward to a Craft Beer Experience with IPA, Bavaria Ale, and Bock, as well as whiskey cocktails and selected wines that perfectly harmonize with the aromas of smoke and embers.

Live Music & Entertainment

The musical soundtrack of the day is provided by YESWEPLAY. From Country to Classic Rock, the band provides live exactly the energy that belongs to a BBQ event of this magnitude. Entertainment like bull riding, cigar rolling, or gold panning ensures the right atmosphere.

FAQ

The ticket includes a full day of BBQ fun at Hofgut Dagobertshausen. Look forward to a live BBQ with international grill masters, a variety of food stations, BBQ desserts, entertainment and a varied programme of events.

Yes, the ticket includes all food and drinks. All food and selected drinks, such as craft beer, wine and speciality cocktails, are included in the ticket price.

Yes, there is plenty of parking available for visitors at Hofgut Dagobertshausen. The car parks are located right next to the event site, so you can easily walk to the event. We recommend travelling by car, as the estate is situated outside Marburg.

BBQ Day will take place on 1 May from 12:00 to 18:00 at Hofgut Dagobertshausen.

Our event and cultural barns and brewery, including their canopies, as well as the Smoking Whisky Lounge, provide ample shelter from the rain. We have also placed our large 5 x 6 m parasols around the grounds.

We naturally also offer vegetarian options, including grilled romaine lettuce with garlic mayonnaise, a delicious asparagus ragout and other vegetarian, seasonal dishes.

Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded. Cash refunds are not available. If you are unable to attend the event, please notify us in good time by email at info@vilavita.com. Our Guest Service Centre will deal with your enquiry as soon as possible.
