Strawberry Festival at Hofgut Dagobertshausen
Marburg, May 29, 2025 – Hofgut Dagobertshausen invites guests to its Strawberry Festival on June 14, 2026, from 12 noon to 6 pm. Admission is free.
When strawberries ripen in the fields and summer fills the air with its sweetest scent, it is time for the Strawberry Festival at Hofgut Dagobertshausen. On Sunday, June 14, 2026, everything from 12 noon to 6 pm will revolve around the little red fruit that stands like no other for summer, enjoyment and good vibes.
The festival is designed for the whole family and combines the relaxed atmosphere of the estate with regional products, creative exhibitors and a varied culinary offering. Visitors can look forward to fresh strawberries, strawberry cake with whipped cream, crêpes with strawberries, spaghetti ice cream topped with Dagobertshausen strawberries and the popular strawberry punch, available with or without alcohol. The sweet selection is complemented by hearty classics and modern estate cuisine, including grilled sausage in a bread roll, traditional and vegetarian tarte flambée, flame-grilled salmon with teriyaki sauce and asparagus salad, brisket burgers, the “Dicke Knolle” potato with herb sour cream or pulled pork, creamy asparagus soup and a vegan Dagobertshausen asparagus pan with penne rigate, sun-dried tomatoes and herb pesto.
In addition to the culinary delights, guests can also enjoy a variety of lovingly selected highlights. The Seehof nursery will offer flowers for sale, Blattwerk will provide inspiration with beautiful decorations, and visitors can discover fresh honey, sweet creations from Konditorei Klingelhöfer, specialties from VITA essentials and estate-made products.
Young visitors can also look forward to a colorful children’s program. Antje Kitz will create happy faces with face painting, creative crafts and colorful handmade pinwheels.
Anyone who would like to take strawberries home can combine their visit with a stop at the nearby pick-your-own strawberry fields next to the estate, where fresh strawberries can be harvested straight from the field.
The Strawberry Festival at Hofgut Dagobertshausen is a summer gathering place for food lovers, families and everyone who enjoys regional products, a special atmosphere and a day in the countryside.
